Hosting

Each site runs in an unprivileged LXD container. The control plane never executes customer PHP.

  • Runtime

    Ubuntu 24.04, Nginx 1.26, PHP-FPM 8.1 to 8.4, MariaDB 11.4, Redis 7.4, WP-CLI, and Composer.

  • Isolation

    One container per site. Customer PHP stays unprivileged. Live code is immutable in Git mode.

  • Regions

    Google Cloud regions for the standard fleet, plus a Hetzner budget tier. You can also attach your own node.

  • What comes next

    Site create, clone, and migrate ship in Phase 2. This page describes the runtime those jobs will use.
