Invite your team

Owners and Admins invite teammates by email with a role. Invitations expire in 7 days.

Open Company settings, then Users, and choose Invite users. Enter the person's email and a role. Avaloi emails them a link that expires in 7 days.

Send an invitation

  1. Open Company settings, then Users. You need the Owner or Admin role. Developers, Billing, and Viewers do not see Invite users.
  2. Enter the email and pick a role. For a Site admin or Site developer, also tick the sites they may use. The invitation must be accepted by that email, or by a new sign-up that uses it.
  3. Send. The person gets a message from Avaloi. Pending invitations are listed under the users. Use the three dot menu on a row to resend or revoke it.
  4. They accept. After they verify their email (if they are new) they land in your company with the role you chose.

An invitation cannot move to a different address. Revoke the old one and send a new invitation.

Site roles

A Site Admin or Site Developer can use only the sites they are added to and sees nothing else in the company. Add a person to a site from that site's User management tab. See Give someone access to one site.

Quick answers

They did not get the email. Open the three dot menu on the pending invitation and choose Resend invitation. The 7-day clock starts again.

I sent the wrong role. Revoke the invitation and send a new one. Or wait until they join and choose Change role from the three dot menu on their row.

Can I invite with the API? Yes. Call POST /v1/companies/me/invitations with a key that has the users:write scope. Send an Idempotency-Key header so a retry does not create a second invitation.
