The Avaloi beta

What the beta is, what you get, and how to accept an invitation.

Parts of this feature are still being built. The Not yet section lists them.

The Avaloi beta

Draft article. The beta has not started, and Avaloi has not contacted anyone yet.

Avaloi invites a small group of agencies, stores, and developers to run real sites before launch. The beta lasts at least 30 days and is free. In return we ask you to keep the site live, tell us what breaks, and answer a short weekly survey.

How an invitation works

  1. Avaloi staff create an invitation for your company. It is tied to your company and expires 14 days after it is made.
  2. A second staff member approves it.
  3. Your company Owner or an Admin opens Company settings and reads the beta agreement. Accepting it turns the beta on for your company.

If the invitation expires before you accept, ask us for a new one. If your company already has a paid plan, it cannot join the beta.

What you get

  • Up to 3 live sites with staging, 20 GB of disk each, and a 512 MB PHP pool.
  • Daily backups kept for 14 days, which you can download.
  • Chat with the engineers.
  • Launch pricing held for 12 months on the plan you pick at launch.

Visits and bandwidth are measured and shown, not billed, during the beta.

What we ask

Keep the site live for the 30 days, report problems in chat, answer the weekly survey, and let us read your site's performance data and logs to fix things. We never read your database or your mail without asking.

Leaving

You can leave at any time. Export your site or move it, and we delete your data 30 days later, or sooner if you ask.

For developers (not yet in the published API spec)

The same flow is in the API. GET /v1/companies/me/beta shows your status. Owners and Admins accept with POST /v1/companies/me/beta/accept. Staff routes under /v1/beta/invitations list, create, approve, and revoke invitations.
