Site labels

Create company-wide labels, give them a color, apply them to sites one at a time or in bulk, and filter the Sites list by them.

Labels group your sites the way you think about them: by client, by team, by stage. They belong to your company, and every site can carry several. Open Settings, then Site labels, to manage them.

Open it

  1. Choose Settings in the sidebar.
  2. Choose Site labels.

Each label shows how many sites use it. You need the labels permission to manage labels. Owners and administrators have it; see Roles.

Create a label

  1. Choose to create a label.
  2. Give it a name.
  3. Pick a color from six: five greys and the Avaloi orange.
  4. Save.

Rename or recolor a label

Open the label and change its name or color. The change shows on every site that carries the label.

Apply labels to sites

You can apply labels in three places:

  • From the Sites list: tick several rows, then add or remove labels on all of them at once. Avaloi runs the change as one job group and shows how many sites are done.
  • From a site's Info tab, under Site details.
  • In bulk through the API with POST /v1/bulk.

Then filter the Sites list by label to see a group together, or save the filter as a view.

Delete a label

Deleting a label removes it from every site and asks you to type its name to confirm. The sites stay.

Limits

  • Six colors: five greys and the Avaloi orange.

Quick answers

Who can create labels? Anyone with the labels permission. Owners and administrators have it.

Will deleting a label delete my sites? No. The label disappears from the sites, and the sites stay.
