Additional disk space

Add 20 GB blocks of disk space to your plan from the Add-ons page. The space is shared by every site on your account.

Your plan includes 20 GB of disk for each site. When your sites need more, add disk space to your plan in blocks of 20 GB. You do not need to contact us.

Add disk space

  1. Open any site and choose Add-ons in the site menu.
  2. On the Additional disk space card, choose Add to plan.
  3. Pick how many 20 GB blocks you want, from 1 to 10. The dialog shows the space added and the monthly total.
  4. Choose Add to plan.

It is billed from the next invoice, prorated today: your next invoice has the rest of this month, then the monthly total bills with your plan. You need a saved card first. If you have none, the dialog links to Payment methods.

How the space is shared

Disk space is account wide. Each block adds 20 GB to your account, and every environment of every site can grow into it: each environment's limit is 20 GB plus every block you hold. A limit never drops below what an environment already uses.

The change runs as one job per environment on its server. Follow them on the Jobs page. When they finish, the card says how many GB were added. If a job fails, the card shows a warning with Retry. Retry runs only the jobs still needed and never charges again.

Change or remove

  • Change opens the same dialog. More blocks bill the rest of this month for the new total; fewer blocks credit the unused days.
  • Remove ends every block now and credits the unused days. Each environment goes back to 20 GB.

You can only lower your disk space while your sites fit in the new total: no environment may use more than its new limit, and all of them together may not use more than your plan plus the blocks you keep. Delete files or old backups first if they do not fit.

API and assistants

POST /v1/sites/{id}/add-ons/{addon_id}/purchase with additional_disk as the add-on and {"quantity": 3} sets the total blocks. .../cancel removes them, and .../retry runs the server jobs again. Assistants use the add_disk_space and disable_add_on MCP tools, which ask you first.
